Valley Wagon adds Sweet Shoppe

     The Valley Wagon, located at 1451 South Buckner Tarsney Road, is brimming with fresh produce, flowers, gifts and home decor, and has now added a Sweet Shoppe to satisfy even the sweetest sweet tooth. 
     Owners Vince and Melissa Moehle have steadily added to their business since its humble beginnings as an actual produce wagon on the site. The addition of the Sweet Shoppe is the newest addition, featuring ice cream from Central Dairy, cookies, cinnamon rolls, and other creations from The Sweet Spot - OG. Picnic tables invite guests to stick around awhile. The Sweet Shoppe also offers ice cream to go, and The Sweet Spot - OG accepts orders on site for their popular cinnamon rolls and baked goods. 
     Once your sweet tooth is satisfied, The Valley Wagon offers a full line of produce at its farm stand, gifts and home decor - including a number of ideas for Father's Day. Strawberries are in season, and watermelons have also arrived at the farm stand.
     The Valley Wagon is now an authorized farmer with the Missouri Senior & WIC Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program. Benefit Vouchers are issued to eligible participants June 1- Sept 30. The program provides 10 benefit vouchers, $5 each, to low-income seniors. For more information on eligibility, contact the MU Extension office at 816-380-8460.
     The Valley Wagon is located at 1451 South Buckner Tarsney, one block north of Price Chopper and next to Milestone Daycare Center. Hours are 11:00am-8:00pm Thursday, Friday, and Sunday. Saturday hours are 8:00am - 8:00pm.
