Jackson County Food Inspection Report

Jackson County Public Works Environmental Health Division inspects all restaurants, grocery stores, schools, mobile food and temporary food establishments in the City of Grain Valley. The following violations were reported in the last 7 days:

Price Chopper #325 - Meat/Seafood
1191 NE McQuerry Rd          
Observed chemical stored above single service items in the meat area. Corrected. Chemical was removed.
 
The Pub and Patio                
640 NW Yennie St                 
The drainage pipes on the ice machine in the kitchen and on the ice bin in bar area were both below the rim of the drain, all drainage pipes have been moved one inch above the rim of the drain. Corrected on site.
 
Price Chopper # 325 - Bakery

Observed hoses in the sink without an air gap. Corrected.
Hoses were removed out of sink.
 
Captain's Sports Lounge      
301 SW Eagles Pkwy              
The drainage pipes for the ice machine, ice bin in the bar area, and the bar gun holder were all below the rim of drain, all drainage pipes have been moved above the rim of drain. Corrected on site.
The inside of the ice machine has a dark colored residue. Reinspection required.
The walk in cooler is at 50*F and all PHF was ranging from 44-51*F, all PHF out of temperature has been discarded/destroyed. Re-inspection required.
 
 
Price Chopper # 325 – Bakery

Observed dishwasher not reaching sanitize temperature of 160*. Re-inspection required.
 
Casey's General Store # 3325
1111 S Buckner Tarsney Rd   
The sandwich make table on the left hand side is at 46*F, all PHF has been discarded.
The pizza make table is at 49*F, all PHF has been discarded. Repeat violation. Re-inspection required.
